You may have noticed the earth tilted a bit
to the North on the 3rd of July. This was the
North bound traffic in Michigan..

Ten miles later...

25 or 30 miles later...Sure glad we were
heading South to Flint and then East to Canada

Going across this bridge outside St Ignace, MI you
have Lake Michigan on the right and
Lake Huron on the left

This is just getting into the lane to get
into line to cross into Canada

And this is getting in the Lanes!

My Kind of Guy!

Had a great time in Niagara Falls, Canada as we were there over the 4th of July and so there were fireworks on the Canadian side on the 3rd and the US side on the 4th. They turn colored lights on the falls at night so we really had a great show.

Bad Lands

For all of you who have traveled this great USA this won't be anything new, but for us it has been interesting to go through these States that we had always thought of in a different way. South & North Dakota do have lots of trees and water, and even tho they are flat we enjoyed going through Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan and if we thought there was a lot of water and trees in Oregon they don't hold up with Northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. We will have been next to all five great lakes, and it made us feel like we were back in Oregon by the Ocean. I loved staying in St. Ignace and going over to Mackinac Island and finally getting to see and go through my "Somewhere In Time Grand Hotel"

So here is part of our day in the Badlands area and it was great to finally see Mt Rushmore and enjoy the presentation in the evening and then go back the next day and get the full effect. Good old Crazy Horse is still waiting to get the rest of his body and his horse!

Coast To Coast

We have started our Coast To Coast trip
and we couldn't have picked a better year
to go across the country. There has been so
much rain that it is green from the freeway
to the tops of the mountains all through Idaho,
Montana, WY & SD. First photo is out the
window in Montana of our friend Dave
Mobash, and then just a shot out the
window traveling to show the green!
We went to see the Devils Tower in WY
before heading to SD and Mt. Rushmore
but of course had to make a stop in Stergis
first.
