Help

Dear Friends and family:
I need help with posting my blogs and photo's.  I can't seem to get the script to be under the photo's and get my photo's downloaded to where they are easy to insert.  If any of you can help make it easy I would be posting more, so any advise will be appreciated as I know all of you have it down pat because of all the great photos and updates on all your blogs.  Send me an email with your hints and helps....Thanks

Big Changes

We had a great trip down the Or & CA coast on Hwy 1 to Santa Barbara before heading inland to Arizona.  Since we sold our MH and plan on driving to Alaska this summer we decided to look for a small travel trailer and this is what we found

Can't believe that it is now the middle of September and I haven't updated anything on my blog.  But I have enjoyed reading all the fun family and friends blogs and knowing what your families are doing.  Roger has been getting in some fishing although it has not been as good this year, but the salmon finally decided to show up so he has been catching a few.  The crabbing went dead for the summer, but that is now also picking up and while I was in Corvallis tending grandkids he had a crab feed with a bunch of fishing friends.  As all of the family will know my Dad passed away last month at the age of 97, and I had a great visit with him on the phone the day before he passed.  We had a wonderful family get together to honor him and to celebrate his life as he didn't want us to be sad because he is where he has wanted to be for several years which is back with Mom, Reid, parents and loved ones.  We will all miss him, but we are so blessed to have his example to keep on guiding us in the way we live our lives.
While we are back home in Oregon the 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren keep us busy and we love getting to see them and have them come visit us at the coast.  We have also had many friends and family come and visit this summer and some even bring their RV's and spend a week or more, so that has been great as we love company.  Weather has been great which has helped with some of the fixer upper projects and yard work that is just a part of everyone's life, but that keeps Roger busy and Deon happy!

Had to show why we can't leave until my Cactus blooms.  It only blooms for one day, so this series of photos is Saturday when the blossom begins Sunday when it is in full bloom and today when it is all gone....

FUN IN THE SUN

Yuma has a great new Water Park and it is on a hillside with a great view of the lettuce fields and mountains in the back round.  The "Water Road" goes all the way around, so you can get in an inner tube and just float around the whole park if you like.  They also have a "Fun Factory" above it with miniature golf, Go carts, bumper boats (with water guns), arcade, great restaurant etc.  Our friends took their Grandkids and I took some photos!                                  Hey family, Come on down!

My "Family Wall"

For Christmas we asked for a Family Photo from each of our 4 sons, and now I finally have them all to at least enjoy for a couple of weeks before we get to see them in person!



 

Another Project for Roger

 We have had the outdoor kitchen that Roger built a few years ago needing some shade, so a couple of weeks ago he got a neighbor friend to help and they put up this cover in one day...My Willie Can Do Anything!!

Trip to Palm Desert & Borrego Springs CA

This is in downtown Palm Springs, Marilyn would be so Proud!!?? 

Then we drove out to Borrego Springs and there are about 150 of these metal animals all around the Valley.  Just a few for you to see...This guy was quite an Artist.
