Good Time

Took an anniversary trip through Eastern AZ and came down from an awesome scenic highway and at the bottom you go right through this huge copper mine.  Quite the views

Winter Project

Added to the Patio Cover and then added shutters to Casita, so now cars can be undercover

Roger's annual beard growing

He likes to look like Santa when we get to Yuma so here is the before and after and I'll be glad when the after finally grows in again

Fun Weekend

Attended the World Beard and Mustache contest in Portland and son Curtis won 3rd place in the natural mustache division, and grandson Chris won 4th in the Amish beard division.  There were 14 or 15 categories and Curtis' kids and grandkids got into the act to be a cheering support section!  Fun time, and I couldn't believe how creative some of the men were in what their facial hair looked like, but also the costumes they wore.  You can check out the winners on World Beard and Mustache Championship web site and also the USA today app.  Last photo of 2 in the Musketeers division

photos

These are updated photo's of the Graduates

Graduation

Both Parker and Charlie graduated from High School and Parker also graduated with a 2 year degree at college and will be attending University of Washington in Seattle, and Charlie has submitted her mission papers so exciting times in the Cole Family.

Darin brought Alice and Carter over one weekend and walked out without Alice's Sunday dress, so I got out this one of Mom's and with a little belt adjustment she was able to wear it.  I think Mom would have been a teenager when she wore it, so looks like we can have Alice wear it now, and then for several years.  Elaine showed the photo to Marigene and she said Avon would have made it because she made all their clothes, so what a fun bit of history, and neat memory for a great granddaughter

My Car!

Roger has been trying for a couple of years to get me to trade in my Yukon and his truck for a "Truck" and finally talked me in to it with the understanding that it will be "MY CAR" as he will have his little GEO tracker while in Oregon and the Jeep we leave in Yuma.  So here is my car and it actually has more room in the back seat than the Yukon and has the running boards that retract.  Needless to say his tool box did not go in the back because I got a cover instead.  Our phones are synced so if you call while we are in the truck it comes through the speakers just like the On Star which I was sorry to not have in the Ford, but this is better because there is no extra charge...FUN!
We've had a great summer so far with lots of friends and family coming to stay at the Tilton Hilton.  When Steven came down from Kennewick I had a house full of boys and one little Princess for the weekend.
